The first stop of the 2017 DC Snowboarding Hit & Run wrapped up last weekend in Mammoth Mountain, CA. Under blue skies and abnormally frigid temps, Mammoth’s finest battled it out through fast banked turns and technical slopestyle features to prove who has the all-around skills to pay the bills.
The DC Hit & Run is a banked slopestyle that combines the speed and turns of a traditional banked slalom with the technical trickery of a slopestyle. Riders make their way down the course as fast as they can while sending their best tricks off of judged features for bonus time deductions.
